An OEM approached Anderson Express to make 40,000 specialty complex aluminum oil pan assemblies within a very short launch curve in order to supplement necessary production start up. The Tier 1 customer that was launching the assemblies was 6 months behind schedule for launch.

We helped redesign the casting, launched casting tooling, machining fixtures machining programs, and dedicated semi-automated drain plug run down and leak test cell. We were at PPAP in 4 months.

Anderson Express ended up making over 110,000 assemblies before the tier one could take over.
