An OEM approached Anderson Express to bring a rush, heat-treatable die cast, low-volume underbody structural component to production.

We were able to redesign that part to a permanent molded casting — and able to create the tooling at 20% of the cost of the die tooling while maintaining a similar price point for the finished component. Strength was also improved from the die cast design.
