An OEM approached Anderson Express to bring an emergency specialty alternator bracket to production, at a competitive cost, in a very short launch curve. To meet their production scheule, we re-purposed two of our Hurco machines that were used for general production. We launched casting tooling, machining fixtures, and machining programs and were able to PPAP in 6 weeks.
